  • Billing & Collections Specialist
    Location: Reno, NV Position Type: Full Time Travel Required: Less than 10% ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for an individual with an understanding of insurance collections and reimbursement processes: Workers’ Compensation, PIP, Auto Accident, TRICARE, Lien, No-Fault, EOBs & ICD-9/10. Medical billing and collections experience with physicians and pharmacies are mandatory. Candidate must also have a working knowledge of the appeals and denials process with insurance carriers. Our products and services directly impact patient convenience, well-being, and continued care. • Must have Workers’ Compensation collection experience, i.e., Prior Authorizations • Maintain focus on customer service and communicate professionally with patients, physicians, pharmacists, clinical personnel, and insurance companies • Verify National Drug Codes and pricing for state specific reimbursements • Bill claims within 48 hours from the Date of Service • Identify and manage authorizations, insurance changes, denials, and/or appeals • Responsible for timely collections of insurance payment accounts • Check payer and aging reports daily to determine the accounts that are outstanding and meet assigned collection goals • Research and rebill claims as necessary when returned for incomplete information • Write appeals to insurance companies to overturn denied or short-paid claims • Problem solve denied claims in a timely manner by contacting insurance adjustors or carriers to obtain information for necessary rebilling • Show initiative and willingness to cross-train across all areas of operations, marketing, and sales • Various other job duties and special projects, as needed QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of experience with medical billing, insurance collections, and HIPAA compliance. Must have experience with Workers’ Compensation reimbursement and collections. REQUIRED SKILLS Self-motivation to work both independently and as part of a team.   • Operations Manager
    Location: Reno, NV Position Type: Full Time Travel Required: Less than 10% ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manages the warehouse, inventory, transportation, and customer service aspects of day-to-day business activities. • Plans, directs, and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. • Manages and maintains current relationship with all third-party vendors • Maintains proper customer service etiquette with new and existing customer requests. • Collects and provides appropriate information for new or existing FDA and Pricing Database Listings. • Tracks and reports key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies. • Maintains and provides daily reports to operations and accounting team of product sales • Reviews and audits vendor invoices prior to approval for payment. • Assists with executive staff on conducting market research in various categories as well as research into potential suppliers, product specifications, and resources. • Works with executive staff in new product launching, consulting, and the product approval processes. • Identifies and cultivates new business relationships related to the current established supply chain and product development services. • Conducts supplier analysis, evaluates potential suppliers, and manages the overall supplier qualification process. • Develops and creates sourcing plans, requests for proposal, and other sourcing documents. • Negotiates vendor agreements and other agreement related duties. • Lends support to the accounting, executive, marketing, operations, and product development team as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years of supervision experience in a pharmaceutical distribution / supply chain role. College BS Degree preferred. Can be substituted with the aforementioned experience in the pharmaceutical industry. REQUIRED SKILLS: Self-motivation to work both independently and as part of a team.
